No Place for Men

My story is short.

I was leaving my girlfriend at the end of the month, and I was sleeping on the couch. She stabbed me eight times while I was asleep, yelling that if she couldn't have me no one else was. She was sentenced to five years on a guilty plea but had three charges for showing up at my home while out on parole. The Chatham cops kept letting her off. It wasn't until a cop that wasn't from around here became involved that my ex-girlfriend did she get charged with stalking me. Then, after all of that where is there for a man to go? I believe if there are shelters for women you better start putting money in shelters for men. This domestic abuse is not just perpetrated by men as some abused women would have you to think. At least women have a place to go.
